Fr. Mike Glor started his ministry at St. Peter’s in March 2011, after earning his MDiv in Theology at Trinity School for Ministry. Trinity is an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition located in Ambridge, PA (near Pittsburgh).
Prior to Seminary, Mike worked as a technology program manager in Washington, D.C. “I felt a calling to ordained ministry about 25 years ago, and it just took this long for the Lord to get me ready,” he says. “If you know the story of Moses, you know that he received his call and left. It took him 40 years before he came back, so I tell people, ‘I’m on the Moses plan.'”
On pastoring his first parish: “On pastoring the church: I would not say that I am interested in getting people into the seats, but very much interested in and committed to introducing folks to the Kingdom and discipling them on their journey.”
